Montecito-Sequoia High Sierra "Family Vacation Camp" is located in the spectacular Sequoia-Kings Canyon Nat'l Park area at a cool 7,500 ft. on it's own Lake Homavalo near the Giant Sequoia Trees. The Family Program offered at M-S has received several awards as being one of the "Top 10" places in the United States for families to travel with their children. The "Free Choice" program offers over 30 activities for persons ages 2 to 85 - "Tots to Seniors", and is open year round.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Each Summer Montecito Sequoia Family Camp hires over 40 staff members. They include: CIT Director, Special Events Coordinator, Pre-school and Primary Program, Children's Group Leaders, Activity specialist instructors including: Horseback Riding, Water Skiing, Sailing, Canoeing, Riflery, Archery, Fencing, Mountain Biking, Trampoline, Tennis, Pool Lifeguard, Arts and Craft, Guitar and Song Leader, Naturalist and Outcamp and many more.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Staff need to be enthusiastic, energetic and competent instructors in their selected positions, as they teach both CHILDREN and ADULTS, and need to know teaching progressions and SAFETY STANDARDS. Waterfront positions require Lifeguard certification. These are ALL jobs where staff can experience the joy of accomplishment. All staff live-in and have shared housing. We will provide you with past staff persons to call as "references" on request. Guitar, Theater, Comedy, and singing are talents we welcome!
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary depends on previous teaching, work experience, age, and weeks employed. Compensation includes Salary, Rm & Bd, Gratuities, delicious "California Fresh" buffet meals and lovely High Sierra climate! Total cash compensation is begins at around $250 per week. Staff live in winterized cabins, and use a nearby bath house with plenty of hot water. Each cabin houses six staff. We also welcome staff who might be interested in working year round.

We are looking for some summer staff, 4 or 5, who might enjoy full year round employment. From Sept to June we have many things going on and we offer an OUTDOOR EDUCATION PROGRAM. For year round staff we are looking for staff who are flexible and "can wear several hats", have a background in Environmental Education and are also qualified to teach our summer activities. (Archery, Naturalist, Riflery, Fencing, Adult Crafts, Rock Climbing, Low ropes, Children's Program (4-11yrs),and WINTER SPORTS (We offer over 15 different winter sports).
