Our main office is located in Buena Vista, Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains where we are surrounded by the 14,000’ peaks of the continental divide. We offer a variety of rafting and adventure opportunities including world-class whitewater, extended multi-day wilderness trips, guided float fishing, inflatable kayaks as well as guided mountain biking, horseback riding and jeep tours.

We have been hosting quality whitewater adventures in the Rocky Mountains since 1976. Wilderness Aware Rafting has twice been named ‘Colorado Company of the Year’ and is the premier outfitter in the state.

Previous rafting experience is NOT necessary. We provide all the necessary training needed to produce top quality professional river guides.

Wilderness Aware will only hire self-starting, creative, friendly, dedicated and hard working applicants. Our clientele expect the best raft trips in America.
