AEROSPACE CAMP SEEKING CAMP LEADERS
The primary role of a lead is to supervise one to five leaders within an ACE unit (Flight Camp, Planetary Voyagers, Advanced Camp, Restoration Camp). The lead is responsible for the implementation of activities for the unit in the summer day camp program, including reservations, ordering supplies, and recruiting guest speakers and arranging filed trips. Supervision of key volunteers and staff (1 to 5 staff) is required. The primary role of the ACE lead is to operate a safe and fun environment and is to instruct high quality educational camping programs that meet ACA requirements.
Salary: Seasonal exempt summer position, weekly salary based on 45 hours a week at $9.00 to $10.50 (DOE) an hour, no benefits.Employment season: Immediate hire, dates needed for leads are:
Flight Camp (Grade 1-4) unit lead: June 5th - August 27th 2002, located on Boeing Field, Seattle.
Planetary Voyagers Camp (Grade 4-7) unit lead: June 5th – August 13th, 2002 located on Boeing Field, Seattle.
Advanced Camp (Grades 7-9) unit lead: June 5th – August 27th, 2002, located on Boeing Field, Seattle.
Restoration Camp (Grades 5 – 8) unit lead: June 5th – August 20th, 2002 , located on Paine Field.
